Well hello there!
Welcome to my BRAND SPANKING NEW healthy living blog! I’m so happy you are here as I have legitimately wanted to start one of these FOREVER. Now is the time 🙂 As you may have gathered from the title of my blog, I’m a runner. And while that may be true to me, it probably isn’t to the general running community. I run because it makes me feel good, and I do it for as long as that takes. Sometimes it’s 3 miles and sometimes it’s 8. Sometimes it’s every day of the week and sometimes it’s only once. But you know what? That’s okay with me. I want this blog to be all about balance, and that definitely includes running. Physical fitness is important, yes, but so is mental health, and I never want to sacrifice one for the other.
However, that is so far from being all I’m about. I am absolutely OBSESSED with Harry Potter. I’ve read the entire series over 15 times, and have accomplished a complete movie marathon – That’s 19 hours and 46 minutes, folks. I’m not overly selective, though. Give me pretty much any book and I’ll give it a chance. (Self-professed bookworm, right here) Give me a good book, and, well, you won’t be seeing much of me for the next two days.
I also enjoy music too loud, painting my nails too many times, and reading too many books (although whether that’s possible is up for debate). I’m a bit of a go-hard-or-go-home type of girl, if you catch my drift 😉
The one thing I don’t apply that philosophy to, however, is ironically the subject of this blog. I am a 100% believer in moderation. I have weeks where I don’t run at all, and weeks where I call peanut butter toast a balanced meal. Basically, I believe that as long as you feel good about yourself, you’re doing good, kid.
This blog is mostly about health, yes, but I tend to pour out my soul when I’m writing, so you’ll probably get a pretty good feel for me by scrolling through my posts.
Oh yes – I also pretend to not be corny when I am really the master of extra cheese. Sorryimnotsorry.
